Somos agricultores del vino desde 1870

Vino y Gastronomía magazine, winner of Premio Nacional de Gastronomía, is the most prestigious publication about wine and gourmet topics in Spain. It has chosen two of the premium wines from Eguren Ugarte winery in Rioja Alavesa.

Vino y Gastronomía magazine has released its list of the best 300 wines from Spain, a selection of 174 red wines and 126 pink, white, sparkling and sweet wines. The list includes two of the best red wines from our winery: Anastasio 2006 and Martín Cendoya 2008. These are wines made at the winery in Rioja Alavesa, from our oldest vines. In the case of Anastasio, 100% tempranillo grape, it already has 94 Parker points.

The magazine that makes this list is Vino y Gastronomía, organizer of “Nariz de Oro” Sommelier Contest and one of the most important publications in Spain about wine and gastronomy for amateurs, as well as considered one of the twelve best designed magazines by the Society of Publication Desing of New York.

The list made by this publication has given 93 points to Anastasio, premium wine from the winery of Eguren Ugarte family. Meanwhile, Martín Cendoya, a reserva made from 80% tempranillo, 15% graciano and 5% mazuelo grapes, has got 90 points. A recognition that adds to others like the Golden Medal in Decanter or 92 Parker points.

We see recognized our enological commitment with the premium wines of our portfolio, gathered under the name of Eguren Wines, and with more than 10 awards, not counting Parker and Wine Spectator scores.
